What is a guided read?
One passage, broken into a few steps. Each step names what to look for, explains it in a paragraph, and prints the verses it is about — so you read the text itself rather than a summary of it.
Do I need to know anything first?
No. Each read starts with the passage and stays there. Where a word has shifted meaning since 1611, the step says so.
Can I use one of these with a group?
Some of them, yes — the ones with a group guide carry discussion questions, a printable sheet and a separate answer key. They are listed under For groups.
