How the puzzles work
Every hidden word is in the passage printed under the grid — not a themed list assembled around it. Drag across a word, or tap its first and last letter. Words run right, down and down-right, never backwards, because this is meant to be a quiet few minutes.
Frequently asked questions
Are these Bible puzzles free to print?
Yes. Open a puzzle and use your browser’s print command — the grid, the word list and the verse print on one sheet without the on-screen controls. A grid solved on screen prints blank, so the sheet is still a puzzle for whoever gets it.
How do I play on a phone?
Drag your finger across a word, or tap its first letter and then its last. Either way it lights up and is crossed off the list. Words run left to right, downwards, or diagonally down-right — never backwards.
Where do the words come from?
Each puzzle sits on one passage, and every word in it appears in that passage as the King James Version spells it. The verse is printed underneath.
What other kinds of Bible puzzles are there?
